Tea is sprouting up everywhere! Recently a mysterious tea house appeared in Griffith Park, inviting hikers to enjoy nature’s beauty while sipping nature’s bounty.
My first reaction when I heard about this tea house:
I haven’t had the chance to take a trip to the Griffith Park tea house yet, and I hope I get the chance to see it soon. Apparently it is not quite legal to build pop-up tea houses in city parks, no matter how cool those tea houses are, so it may not be in the park for very long. There is currently a petition to keep the tea house because people love it so much, but it seems like it would be worth it to visit soon, just in case.
Even if the tea house doesn’t remain, it is in many ways the embodiment of “Ichi-go ichi-e,” giving people who might otherwise be strangers the opportunity to meet in a beautiful place and enjoy their moment of togetherness. What an awesome concept.
And speaking of awesome concepts: I was trying to figure out the best way to hike up to the tea house to have tea when I came across the Keith Outdoor Titanium Tea Set. This very cool looking tea set is a bit of an investment, but could be well worth it for people who love tea and the great outdoors.

I love everything about this whole thing. It actually makes me want to hike! Definitely need to take a thermos of hot water with me if I do.
Yes! It sounds like a great plan!
